Dream Interpretation?

I am on a boat (no paddles) on a river with big waves. The waves turn to ice but when they are ice I am no longer on the boat but suddenly seeing the ice. The ice is a steely blue and I am in awe of the beauty of the ice. The frozen waves are textured and sculptured. I don't remember much else besides the fact that my old boss from 12 years ago is in it. She shows up in my dreams a lot. She and I had somewhat of a one-sided relationship. She is only four years older than me yet she felt like a "mom" or a role model. She talked to me a lot about how to deal with her issues, frustrations and relationship problems. I tolerated her but never really cared for her. She would probably be appalled by this. When I left this job I had just been married and was going to college. I was at this job for 5 years. Longer than any job I have ever had! Please tell me what you think.
