I'm a Geology and geophysics undergrad with a 2.85ish gpa. Can i go onto grad...

...school? I love the science!! I just love the science behind these fields of study but i'm just worried about getting into grad school. I feel that the only way to continue learn about these sciences and get to really specilize is to go onto my masters. I know I can get some awesome reference letters from professors and researchers that i've worked with but I know that isn't the total answer.

It is generally recommended you have at least a 3.0 average but I know that for some unpopular courses like math a pass is all that is required so you may be lucky. Best to ring around a bit.

Another possibility is to enrol in some post-grad subjects. If you do well they may admit you on that basis.

Thanks
Bill
