helpp me. earth science.!?

i need a hypothesis about:
what is causing the earth's climate change
and will it have an effect on it to earth:
please also put information or websites to support your hypothesis

probably the use of all the fossil fuels= global warming. as the arctic ice melts, the ocean levels rise. flooding in the low lying lands. and also the fact that the earth is warming up means warmer oceans which lead to stronger and more frequent hurricanes. and ummm if the planet heats up the water could evaporate very fast and in no time earth might end up looking like venus. shorter winters, more deserts. and yea.. thats about all i know.
