Most of the environmental problems associated with some estuaries have been caused by
a.the daily cycles of rise and fall of the water level in the estuary due to tides
b.changes in the water chemistry due to pollution
c.a lack of adequate rain or snow in the surrounding region
d.excessive recreational fishing
