City of Los Angeles geology and soils?

Where can I find this information? Such as what soil types are most revelations in the city of Los Angeles. Etc.

Two things come to mind:

1. The soils report from the Soil Conservation Service (now the Natural Resources Conservation Service).

2. The Association of Engineering Geologists have a 2007 publication on the geology of LA.
