Liza Sheckler has a spectacular aura about
Earth Science Help?

The question says:

The surface bedrock ata a central new york state location is shale. Why are garnet and gneiss abundant in the soil at this location?

is it:

1.Volcanic lava flowed over the shael bedrock
2.The garnet and gneiss were scattered by a meteor impact
3. The soil in this location was transported from the northeast.
4. The soil resulted from physical and chemical wheathering of shale
