| Geology-dips and strike?
Why is it hard to get a dip and strike measurement from almost horizontal rocks? Is it because there's not enough dip to swing the needle on a not steep bed? But why is it hard to get a strike? And why is it hard to measure these things on uneven rocks? Is this because you might be measuring a lumpy bit instead of the actual rock face?      |
