Any ideas for a sports economics paper to write. I need a proposal for some sort...

...of hypothesis.? Preferrably using linear regression. I've read through plenty of articles on competitive balance, stadiums, revenue sharing. All the obvious topics are taken and I don't know what to do. Something with player salaries? If free agents are worth the money. The salary paid to top first round picksand how it pays off? The CBA's effect on player salary and if that player is now earning what he is paid? I have no idea what to do or how to do it right now.
Any suggestions?

I highly suggest talking about salaries or the stadiums. There is plenty of information on those topics.

The impact of the inevitable termination of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The impact on Competitiveness as Well as the economic impact on the media market with teams like the Pats, Raiders (Yuck), and Cowboys dominating regional markets.
