| Oppose: The Federal Governemtn has not focused on Macro-economics, investments, mortgages...? I need to oppose this statement in a debate/paper: The Federal Government has not focused on Macro-Economics, Investments, Mortgages and Personal Economic problems and in fact has allowed personal debt and uncertainty to divert Political and Economic attention to discourage negative public opinion. Any ideas on how to oppose that in a debate? |

| The government has not focused on macro-economics.... On the contrary, the federal government sanctions the federal reserve bank of the United States. The sole purpose of this entity is to smooth out the business cycle, instill confidence in our financial system and keep inflation low. All of these are considered macro- economic policy... Although the FED is completely independent of the Federal government it is sanctioned by the Federal government and its sole purpose is to provide macro-economic stability. Hope this helps. |
