| Is London School of Economics a prestigious institution? Or should I go to Georgetown University? I am thinking about taking a trip across the pond over to the UK to try my hand out at LSE. I am studying for a degree in Management. I also have an offer to study Social and Public Policy at Georgetown University in DC. I want to travel abroad and work in several different places. I can speak four languages; English, Spanish, Arabic and French so I can pick up and go anywhere. So which is the more universal degree that can grant me a top spot where ever I land? Georgetown University or LSE? Which is more respected worldwide? Thanks guys. Ranto, which one would you give the slight edge towards? Georgetown has a lot of political prestige but LSE has a science oriented method akin to MIT going on for a social science school. Which one is little better recognized among both the general public AND the people in the know? I need all the help I can get if I am skipping out of the country. |
