| My A-Levels Choices are Economics and Photography. I want to do E. Lang.... ...for journalism and German with it for Interpretation but they are in the same block so i cant, what to do? I was thinking do economics, photography and english lang. Then do german a-level at a night course? |

| E language often appears in more than one group, is there any way choosing your subjects in a different way will help? Have you spoken to your tutor? I would say that fitting in an evening course is not always very easy and may actually mean you do less well with the other subjects. My daughter had ababy in her 6th form, and after that could only get to school on 3 or 4 days per week. The teachers were really helpful in finding ways she could attend a class or have some one to one tuition to cover missed classes. I would suggest that Photography might be easier to do as an evening class than, say, german? Often a school timetable is created from 6th form choices down, so raising your isues early may make it possible. Especially if you are crucial to any subject. Most schools have a minimum number of students below which the class won't run. if your German teacher had 9 definites and you would be the tenth, they would be very keen to help you find a way to succeed! Of course, you might have special circumstances like a German mother.... |
