Because, just like The Chosen One, he's perfectly capable of learning enough to do his job effectively. I mean, really, how much econ do you think The Chosen One picked up at Harvard Law School, the South Side of Chicago, and the Illinois State Senate? Exactly!

Obama originally said on capitol gains... he only wants to raise the tax for the rich.. This is impossible.. capitol gains is a tax on investment returns.. this applies to everyone that gets an investment return. including millions of stock investors wether big or small.. You cant just tax the rich.
I would trust a "im gonna check with someone who knows" before i trust someone who spouts talking points in the wrong place who obviously doesnt know what he is talking about.

Capital gains has little to do with at least half the country.
We need to understand that we need to pay taxes to pay off the huge debt that has been incurred by the Iraqi war.
If we don't 'get' that...when the Republicans start their mantra of "Democrats will raise your taxes", the slow of intelligence will simply accept that idea.
In truth, the Republicans have spent and spent, and left the bill to the next administration.
McCain is their sacrificial candidate, they don't think he will win, they don't want to win, if they do they will be the ones left to clean up the mess Bush has left.
