Careers in Environmental Economics?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to hear from those that have had experience in the environmental economics/ecological economics fields. I'm very interested in the subject and am considering pursuing a career in the field.

If you have had any experience or any opinions on environmental economics, I'd be glad to hear from you. I'd like to hear what your duties were, if you worked in the private/gov sector, your college degree (since i'm unsure of what to major in), or any other input/advice you might have. much appreciated.
