Big papa Q has a spectacular aura about
True or false? economics?

One of the ways consumers can demonstrate that they don't want to support a company or business is to boycott it.

NinjaPirate has a spectacular aura about
obviously, true.

Note that the question is not "will a boycott negatively affect the company being boycotted". The question is whether not boycotting is a way that a consumer could show they don't want to support a company.

klbythebay@sbcglobal.net has a spectacular aura about
Some of each !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boycottig achieves 2 effects:

It lessens the patronage enjoyed by the boycottee,

AND,

It calls attention to the boycottee which might enhance the public awareness, and inspire patronage----"..."I'd better and get over there to get one for me before they go under !..."

or,

"I disagree with that boycott and will support that entity with my patronage ! "

Which of these phenomena would apply more than the other is anybody's guess----the inherent popularity of the product / service would have a large bearing on the effect--IF ANY !
