does anyone know what does RIPEM stand for in economics?

This acronym is learned in high school. It is not a company or anything. It is something that is also learned with CREST.

hopefully someone knows what I am talking about. I am trying to help someone with current events.

The only thing I can find is:
Riordan's Internet Privacy Enhanced Mail

Which is:
RIPEM is a program developed by Mark Riordan that enables secure Internet e-mail; it provides both encryption and digital signatures, using RSA and DES routines from RSAREF

It's basically an encryption program. Does this sound right?
