What's the difference between the courses BS Applied Economics and AB Economics?

I'll need a clear and concise definition, contrast, and comparison of the two courses. I'm trying to decide which one to take for college.
Next question: Which is better to combine with accountancy
-because will actually take economics with the accounting course that is offered in the university I will enter.
