Have you got any ideas or suggestions for a software engineering project ?

I'm taking Software Engineering this semester. Today we were assigned a group project. We have to divide ourselves into groups and each group has to come up with an idea of a system. Then we have to fill out a paper with specifications and requirement analysis of the system, the structure of the team and the roles of each person, the implementation process, risk factor and other things.
What ideas or suggestions of a system can you give me please ? You dont have to give detailed details (I dont want you to do the homework for me lol!)..I'm just looking for a basic idea of a system. But if you could add afew lines of info regarding the system, I'd really appreciate it.
Also, if you've done a similar project/have taken a software engineering course and have afew tips I could follow regarding such projects, can you please help me out and share them with me ?
