In civil engineering you will take a lot of advance math and physics courses. So if you don't like Calculus and Physics stay away from civil engineering. Civil engineers get a pretty good starting salary out of college. Somewhere in the $40k to $50k range depending on the location and company. But Civil engineers' salaries tend to level off to around $80k and very few get paid over $100k. You will probably max out around $80k to $90k.

Investment Banking, I guess you will be majoring in some sort of business program like Business Finance. The math courses for those aren't bad. But your beginning salary out of college will be pretty low in the $30k to $40k range mostly on the lower end of that scale. But if you work hard and are determined, your salary can be well into the six figures. My friend graduated around 10 years ago and became a funds analysts and he makes over $100k with annual bonuses of $20k - $50k.
