Should i go to georgia tech or purdue for electrical engineering??

ok heres the deal i got into purdue with a $7000 scholarship making it $28,000+, while as for gatech its around $35,000. As for costs, its not all that much of a difference....however purely on the basis of academic quality, social life, safety, and a few other factors can someone tell me which would be a better choice. I often hear students of gatech complaining about their social lives (no time for it) and that the coursework is waaay to much!!...is this all exaggeration or plain lazy!

i'm looking out for a good social life , a relatively good dorm life, excellent academics and yes, v.good career prospects...

where do i fit in?!?!

you will be busy at Ga. Tech - but everyone will respect that degree. money wise, if you are an EE at GT, they can/will place you in the coop program, which may pay for almost all your schooling.

Honestly, if your social life is as important to you as academics, you might be happier elsewhere.
