| Not sure if I should study Engineering?
I am 25 and I decided that I would like to study engineering partly because I need to improve my employment situation.
The other part is because I want the knowledge that will come with the degree. In particular mathematics and physics I am in slight awe of the power of mathematics.
I am honestly not so much interested in machines as I am in the science that makes them work.In that regard, and many others I think it will be hard for me to sell myself to an employer in the future.
The only other thing I can think of doing would be to get a degree in Statistics/Applied math and go on to teach highschool (I don't have the ability to become an Academic) or see where the road might take me. I still get this nagging sensation that I want to learn engineering.
The logical thing to do would be to simply move on with my life but whenever I try to do that I get this nagging sensation that I am missing out on something wonderful.
