Cougar J has a spectacular aura about
Engineers and computers?

How much do engineers have to rely on programs and computers in the industry? one of the reasons why i'm regretting majoring in engineering is the heavy use of computers and programs, i love maths and physics but i absolutely hate programming and having to use softwares like Catia, I received two Ds even after retakes in these computer related courses, how reliant do i have to be in my junior/ senior year and the industry?

i'm so frustrated over the Ds i got in my retakes, it only hurts me more and didnt improve my grades in anyway.

Engineers rely on programs and computers in their job, but there are IT folk to fix the stuff for them. In the end, in the industry, it boils down to revenue generating and non revenue generating. Engineers (eg. Electrical) are revenue generating.... and are last to be laid off or out sourced...
Many classes are run by jealous professors... Like Thermodynamics. Bottom line.... Teach yourself the basics, and use common sense. You will do alright...
