Degree question?

I want to be an engineer. In order to move up within the company i get to work with, would a minor in business help with that? I plan on majoring in some sort of engineering, but I'm not sure which field yet

Yeah, either a general business or a management minor would compliment that well.

Not really. A MBA will help once you reach a junior management position such as team leader. A masters in engineering will help a lot more initially.ThanksBill

Ask your company what would help and if they reimburse for tuition. I know engineers who have engineering degrees but they get MBA's to move ahead in their company. It does help.

There are basic courses that you have to take no matter what field of engineering you go into. I think you will have to some math and bisness courses. I found a course in business and report writing to be very useful. Good luck.
