I got my H1B this yr(2008) . What kind of jobs can I apply for?

I did my engineering in Mechanical. But thru campus placement I got a job in Software company. I worked for 1.5 yrs and now I am married and came to US. But now I dont want to work in Software field. Please someoen suggest me hwat are the whole lot of options that are available for me to apply. And how shud I go about it.
