Immigration Problem for UAE?

I am a Civil Engineer qualified from Pakistan. For better opportunity, I contacted a Engineering firm in Abu Dhabi UAE. During my visa processing, my new Employer informed me that your name has been found in the black listed candidates by Immigration Department UAE. I have never entered in UAE and my passport has been issued to me just 2 months before (April 2008) that is my first passport. It is worth mentioning to note that if any person with same name and passport has illegally entered in UAE then he should be punished and a person with original name and passport should not be penalized. Now tell me is there any procdure for rechecking of my profile from UAE Immigration Department? or suggest any other way.

What goes through my mind is - the other person also has a passport - I would ask the UAE to check the PHOTO of the other person's passport! There should only be ONE of YOU! Some names are very common all over the world, I should have thought THAT would have been the first thing to check up on!! The other person MAY NOT be illegal, as it is possible he COULD have the same name! Also, don't they take finger prints when applying for a passport? This may take some patience on your part. If possible, I would try to find out why "this person - supposedly YOU" has been blacklisted!!
