| Technical Degree's vs. Degree's in Management?
What degree is more useful for someone that wants to become an entrepreneur, a graduate degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Math...etc) to open their own tech company/rise up the ranks of a tech company or a graduate degree in management science (not an MBA, but somewhat simillar)? I thought the skills learned in management are helpful (good soft skills for business), however engineering/technical degrees have more substance/ more concrete knowledge to offer? Which would be best for succesful entrepreneurship/hirability?I currently have a bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Eng. & Economics. The question for me is to get a graduate level technical degree (e.g. Comp. Sci, Eng...etc) and then do an MBA or get a management Science degree (slight technical management degree) then go for the MBA? Please note I already plan on going to grad school now prior to the MBA so of the two (technical and management degrees) and given that I have a BS. in Engineering which of the two would be optimal for entrepreneurship in technology or otherwise.
