What would be a good summer camp for mechanical engineering?

I just got a mail from NSLC for summer camp. they give college-level lectures, hand's on experiments, experience of college life, building robot (actually building one), and famous guest speakers. I would really like to go, and it sounds great; but it's just too expensive. I'm sure my parents can afford it, and they want me to go. but I would like to see if there's anything else that's good, but cheaper. I have 3.8 GPA in TN and is taking 3honors. (both 9th and 10th <-- currently 10) and will take 3 AP, 1 honors next year. I'm thinking about majoring in mechanical engineering. PLZ, recommend me some cheap, but good summer camp for ME.
NSLC was 3000$, without the airline ticket... too expensive, i think
