If Chrysler is 80% owned by a brokerage firm and 19% by Daimler who engineers the cars?

What the hell does a brokerage firm know about engineering? With 19% stake which is a good bite.....how much can the Germans really contribute to the American car?
Can I get some serious answers please and not preschool level manners!!!
