| Electrical/Computer Engineering: MIT, Cornell, Columbia, Princeton?
Im about to be a Junior. I have a GPA of about 4.6 weighted. Im interested in computers and engineering. i was in a magnet program in middle school so i have been in computer programming for about 4 years now...i will be takin AP comp programming 2 next year. Im taking 3 AP classes, 2 honors, and 2 cisco academy classes (network engineering and engineering management). im entering AP calc BC next year. Activities: national math honors society national honors society ambassador theatre track and field 300 plus SSL hours i was wondering what are my chances of getting into these schools. what classes should i take to better my chances and what activities? also i was planning to move to NY w/ my best friend and i thought Columbia would be just right, but now i've found out that its not exactly the best engineering school compared to MIT and others. where should i go? i live in Maryland and i dont want to move TOO far away. Boston would probably be the furthest. |
