HELP: Engineering project ideas and ways to do it!!?

involves moving legos over a wooden wall

a spring idea?
projecting them over somehow?

but right now my contraption involves picking them up with a "clip" type thing from a stationary after being triggered to close shut since it starts out open over the legos
but then it has to be lifted and dumped over the 4-inch tall wall... it doesn't work right now
otherwise i have a "motor vehicle" lego type thing that i built that can move them, but it's getting the legos over the wall that's the problem

seems like too many actions and i don't really know how to do it

these actions all have to be done with a single push of a button or a single "action"

and i have to get as many legos to other side as possible.
we have limitations, like only a certain type of motor, only 6 AA batteries used possible, can't knock over the wooden barrier in process of getting legos over to other side...

i need ideas, and i need to know *how* to carry out these ideas/plans!! thanks!

What about h2o? Legos float, so why not use the force of water to lift them and float them over the wall?
