Why did the European Pope call all genetic engineering on vegetables, fruits, and animals serious sin meaning that consumers who eat those products which are now sold at USA groceries stores everywhere all go to hell and cook there forever and ever and ever?

Because they believe that tampering with genetics is tampering with the Perfect Design set by God.
If God meant to have a disease resilient crop, He would have done so in the first place.

However, as Man had already come into the stage where most of the population on Earth is suffering from hunger and starvation, the geneticists are trying to do their part to alleviate the suffering.

However, crossbreeding had already been done for so long, as ways to improve a certain breed of organisms. If genetic manipulation is a serious sin, then crossbreeding alone must be at the very least, a minor sin as well, as Man had induced these changes in the blueprints of God

I think that you will find that he is `The Pope` and not the `European Pope` as he is `All That is Popelifull to the World in all of it`s Christian Roman Catholicity`.

I am an Atheist and even I knew that.

As for the vegies, I guess he thinks that evolution should demand how long it takes to make a better carrot and not a man in a white coat.

To be honest I think that hell has evolved a bit over the last few million years or so, my guess is it is a huge microwave now, just the right size to hold all those errant christians.
