VS Pink 03 has a spectacular aura about
Job etiquette?

Let say.. hypothetically... I was offered a job that I didn't really want.... but since the economy isn't doing well and the job market has been rough.. I accept the offer just so I am sure that I have a job... I agree to start in August.
But between now and August.. I get offered a better position that I really want.
Should I take my dream offer job? What should I tell the people who made the first offer? Is this ethical? Frowned upon? help!

YOu would take the better job or dream job as you call it immediately. You're always trying to better yourself and do what's best. It's ethical and it's not frowned upon. Go for it.

You could take the chance and tell your new employer that you had applied to your dream job before accepting their position (this way there's no surprise if it happens). Don't turn down a dream job. If you get it, just be polite and apologise about not being able to take their position (try and give as much notice as possible so they are able to find someone else)
