myspace etiquette issues?

so i was once young, naive, and new to myspace. i messaged a boy i didn't know who i liked that went to my school. BAD IDEA. i just assumed we were best friends and talked all the time to him on myspace. then i talked to all of his friends about him and i was just SO annoying. i realize this now. i deleted him from my friends list LAST YEAR but the hate still continues. i'll be going to his high school next year unfortunately. should i apologize or ignore it?

It's only a mistake if you make it twice. Cut your losses and make a clean break as best you can. What did you learn.
