K. J has a spectacular aura about
Proper etiquette when working with a ADD colleage?

I work with this Lady and she is considered Higher on the Ladder than me- Whenever she tells me my next assignment, she ALWAYS has ADD Bouts. Its so hard to deal with.
- She will be in the middle of explaining something to me, and make a phone call- or her Mom calls in to chat. She will Email someone before she forgets... and all the while Im standing next her to helpless!
This morning she Swears she told me one step in the assignment but I write down EVERY word while she is telling me this assignment and it wasn't in my notes.

** This happens a lot where she is like "I told you not to do XX"
& I'm thinking *No you didn't say a WORD about that!

She is either setting me up to fail- or she has a major problem with ADD.

How do I deal with her? Its making ME look bad and she is coming off looking good b.c Im messing up when she "told" me to do something.

Im going NUTS!

make sure to double check what she is directing you to do(this may make you look like an idiot at first lol, but in time it will just look like you are being thourough) or request that she draft memos outlining your assignments(in memo form, the assignment is binding and needs a revision in memo form to be changed). if she refuses to do this, research the protocols on handing out assignments in your department or go to the companies general protocols. or better yet, get a digital recorder to record the assignments as given(inform her that you will be recording for your notes though to avoid any legal hassles IE: recording without consent)
