| My 6-year old's birthday party - need etiquette help!?
My daughter and her best friend decided to have one big birthday party, since they were born only 6 days apart. Will guests who know both girls begrudge the idea of having to buy 2 gifts when only one party is being held? Is there any way to tactfully tell the guests that they don't have to give each girl a "full-sized" gift, but can give each girl a smaller gift? After all, we plan to send home only one joint party favor bag per guest. We thought this was a great idea, but now I'm feeling kind of cheap and tacky. Help! |
