| Honeymoon registry etiquette? My fiance and I are setting up a honeymoon registry. (Can I please point out that we live in Australia and it is a common practice here for couples to do this over here)
However, my in-laws are older and they are old-fashioned, and they think it is rude to have a honeymoon registry. We have a bunch of cards with the travel agent's details to give to each of our parents, in case people ask what to get us, they can give them the cards. But I know the in-laws won't give out the cards because they think it's rude!!
What do I do? My partner and I both want the registry, as we have lived together for years we have everything we need. Also as our wedding is interstate we will be very limited with what we can bring home because of the flight home (baggage allowances, etc) |
