Etiquette Question?

Isn't it common curtisy to wait when an elevater door opens to see if anyone gets out before you barge in? or when you are going into a smaller space (IE: A Deli)and someone is coming out to wait for them the exit

That is elevator etiquette absolutely but as you know many people are very rude and self centered and will barge right in. I've had that happen on more than one occasion. I usually say EXCUSE ME and push MY way out if I can. People are idiots.

Yes, it is common courtesy to let the person out before you go in. Might also allow you more room too!
