Sauna etiquette in a co-ed place?

I'm a beginner, and the closest sauna in my community offers a co-ed one [in Canada], Is there anything I should know..or follow?I also wear soft contacts, should I take them off? I've been in there once for 5 seconds =|.

Your contacts might dry out but you still need to see. I would take re-wetting drops in with you along with cold water to drink.

Also some people enjoy the quiet.. So, I wouldnt initiate any conversations...

Other than that.... oh yeah... if you want more steam you should ask the others if they are ok with it...

Enjoy!!

there are some general rules of sauna etiquette that should be followed:

• Shower first
• Use a towel on the bench
• Don’t compete to see who can stay in the longest or withstand the highest temperatures
• Relax, socialize, and enjoy the company of others
• Do not interpret the nude sauna as a sexual or erotic thing, because it’s not
