| Corsage etiquette?
A lot of times on TV you'll see a boy picking up his date for the prom, and he'll bring a corsage, and he'll go to pin it on her, then everyone will realize that in order to do that, he needs to touch her boobs. And her parents are there, and they're upset, and everyone is uncomfortable. My question is: why didn't they anticipate this ahead of time? It seems inevitable. I don't understand why everyone is always surprised when it happens.
