| Funeral Etiquette - can you mark on the card who the money should go to? One of my friend's mother died and we are going to the funeral. I know it is customary to give money, but would it be tacky to somehow indicate the money should go to my friend, and not her step-dad? Yes, the step-dad is paying for the funeral and such, but I want the money to go for my friend for college and stuff. She is only 20, she will need all the money she can now that she has no living biological parents. How would you word it? Would making the check out to her be enough? |
