Workplace etiquette?

I am currently on FMLA due to job burnout. I have received 3 voicemails, on my cell phone from the assistant vice president in my department wishing to speak with me. The first voice message she left asked how I was doing. The next two voice messages inquired as to my health and also mentioned some changes at the company.

Is she out of line for contacting me while I'm on leave?
