Etiquette for second wedding?

My brother is getting married in October. This is his 2nd wedding and his fiance's first. How should the bridal/wedding shower work in regards to invitees? What is the invite etiquette since this will be the 2nd shower for guests on my side of the family? Do we not invite them this time? Thanks!

In life we celebrate each other's milestones, achievements, happy occasions and so on. Treat this like any other wedding shower and include the family. If they want to celebrate in the new marriage, no doubt they want to be included in the shower.

Invite the family, You don't want them to feel excluded! It's up to them to decide to come or not. I would, I that it's the brides first marriage, she certainly deserves it!

If you don't invite them they will feel slighted, and your future sister in law might be insulted/hurt. You have to treat this as it's the first and only shower. Because its the brides first and hopefully only shower. They have the option to go to the shower or not.
