Facebook etiquette: is it okay to join the Facebook groups of several...

...colleges while you're trying to decide? It's a question of Facebook etiquette. I'm trying to decide where to go for college, and I'm wondering if I can join the "Class of 2012" groups for several colleges. Is that okay, or is it frowned upon the join the group of a college which I'm not sure I'll actually be attending?

I think it's a dumb move. It's rude and frowned upon. I say hold your horses until you decide. Good luck!

Matt S has a spectacular aura about
joining college is a huge choice so i dont see any problem with that. i think the worse thing that could happen if you join multiple is one person gets angry. if you choose a college you dont like you could be wasting money and time. that is a lot bigger of a deal then making a couple people potentially angry.

Hope this helps!
