Trail ride etiquette?

[55 and trying]

On a trail ride a lot of people just trying to be polite comment "nice horse" when they ride up to a rider that they don't know or havn't seen for a while. When the other rider is riding a mule what so you say?
From the looks of the answers I guess I just have a strange sense of humur.

Oh okay...guess you could ask..."How's your ass feeling today?"
"How long can you ride before your ass gets tired?"
"Does your ass sweat on trailrides?"

A lady I worked for one summer decided she wanted to drive white mules and when I worked for her, she had about 12 mules.

She named them as such:
Smart Ass
Sassy Ass
Pompous Ass
Silly Ass

and it went on....very amusing.
