think it's fair?? I Think its absolutely dodgy! My partner has 2 older kids that his exwife uses as a weapon, we pay about $50 a fortnight JUST to drive to her place and back the 4 times (inc. tollways etc), get absolutely NO assistance from this woman (she refuses to drive, saying if we want 'em we gotta get them!), now the government is taking away our Family Tax Benefit all together so we now have to Pay that money with NO HELP from the government, plus pay her child support (she lives with her father, pays absolutely NO rent and gets $$ off her partner and parents) and now she gets the extra $100 a fortnight for sitting on her butt and letting her family take care of their kids- she doesnt allow him to take them! My hubby isnt a deadbeat dad and ALWAYS provides for his kids when theyre here and when theyre not -inc half school fees etc, now we have absolutely NO help from the government and have 2 small kids (soon to be 3) of our own...How does this "new system" effect everyone else?
