have a family question to ask?

Ok, heres my problem, our nieces bday is coming up here soon. But her mom, has sent out invites saying this... NO PRESENTS UNDER $50.00 WILL BE ACCEPTED!! Now this is a 8 yr old little girl whose poiled rooten, gets ANY & EVERYTHING she wants, & can do whatever she wants. No one tells her no, & NO ONE punishes this little girl at all. She bad mouths everyone, including her parents.

I refuse to go, & even more my soon to be 11 yr son is NOT allowed near her at all. But now I have grandma & grandpa on my butt telling me I'm not being fair to their granddaughter, & her parents wishes.

I refuse to even think about gettign that little brat anything for her bday, because she dosnt deserve even a card. Plus, my son thinks that if his cousin can act & talk like that its ok.

Also I heard last year on her bday, she got a IPOD, MP3 player, sterio, bike, roller blades, a trip to see MT. Rushmore. And then to top it off, she got to go to Disney World!! And this was all from grandparents!
this little brat is also allowed to hit & bite anyone, she bit me one time & knocked her on her butt & her mom tells me off. And that its just a fad shes going through. Am I worng to not want my family near this little brat, & also thinks its abserd to tell people NOTHING under $50.00 allowed as a gift. I personally think she has alot of nerve to even say that!!
