I have bipolar, cannot take medication, because my family won't let me.They

are not helping me to be stable. I do not know what to do. I live with my grandparents, I am getting paid 300 per month, and am in a completely controlled environment. i am needing support, and to get on medication. i do not want to go into a mental institution, my life can change, and improve, but I am not capable of major change, without major help. they do not like that i am becoming aware of what i need and want,. and they do not care. they would rather me do what i think i should do, and leave. they call themselves christians, and it is revealing to me, what they have thought of me all these years. what judgement they have,. theyare truly not walking or seeing truth. i cannot afford to live3 without truth. i am not willing to live with this manipulation anymore. is there a way i can get to a dr, without them knowing, i need to do something different,. they tell me i could go to a mental hospital if i would like, basicly if I do not do it their way, i am not in agreement with them. i am so upset, afraid

You can go to your county mental health department. They will tell you what you need to do to get an evaluation and appropriate psychiatric care.

Btw, the longest anyone can be help on a psych ward or in a mental hospital is 72 hours unless s/he is a threat to themself or others.
