What would be your ideal family vacation?

Personally for me, it would be a trip for my wife and kids and I to Texas, preferably to San Antonio. We would love to go to Schliterbahn there. I love water parks and that one looks awesome.

Or a camping trip to Yosemite Nat'l Park. It's beautiful, they have a lot to do, and there are plenty of places to eat in the park, so you're not really "roughing" it.

That's a great idea. You said you wanted to go to Schliterbahn in San Antonio. I wasn't aware there was one in SA. But I do know that there is one in New Braunfels, a few miles north of SA. There is also one in Galveston, TX an island on the Gulf coast about 50 miles south of Houston via I-45.

As someone has already mentioned, don't miss SeaWorld and the Alamo in San Antonio. Also if you like old missions, there are two of them (in addition to the Alamo) in SA. Also I think your family would enjoy Natural Bridge Cavers which is located between SA and Austin, our state capital.

If you get the chance and happen to go to Austin, you might check in to the Lyndon B. Johnson library, which is near the University of Texas.

Texas sounds like alot of fun but I would love to visit Sweden or go on a cruise with friends and my husband and daughter. She is going to be a senior next year and we are planning one big family trip before she goes to college. Great question!!
