Black Atheist has a spectacular aura about
Why do plenty Atheists families stay together but they never pray but

plenty praying families break up? If Atheists families can stay together without ever praying, what's the point in this saying?

"Families who pray together stay together"

Not saying anything against Christian folk, but it seems they are harder on each other about things than Atheists. Im not a fan of either social group really, but I have noticed fathers in those families usually hold a lot of guilt, and tend to be strict parents.

Just because the saying rhymes doesn't mean it's accurate!

Christians have the highest divorce rate -- have never been able to figure that one out.

Why? Because atheist couples tend to speak to EACH OTHER about their issues, rather than speaking into their hands, mumbling to a God who isnt listening. THat tends to solve issues better than prayer does....

Good question.
My wife and I have been married 14 years and in that time we've seen 3 divorces from friends and acquaintances. All of them are "devout christians" and the longest marriage lasted 3 years.

I dont think thats very fair, a lot of both sides stay together and break up.

I myself dont believe in god, and dont see any use to the saying either.

If you have to pray then there is something wrong. who wants to stay in a wrong relationship.

Plus, have you ever met families who have to pray? They usually bring up children who end up doing really stupid things, like marry the wrong person.

Atheist families divorce, religious families divorce, but some religious families don't divorce because God said they can't. And those are the families who create the most f'ed up children. Children know. Those children end up being young girls who are 'easy' and young boys who 'experiment' with mind-altering substances.
