TOP CONTRIBUTERS PLEASE ...How do you earn a "TOP CONTRIBUTER" icon with Yahoo Answer?

Im on level 3 and i primarily answer questions in the "Family & Relationships" catagory, Im just wondering how many questions Per day or per week I have to answer, or is it how many total you have ever answered in that catagory?!?!?Does anyone really know?

I got my top contributor when i was on 3 but it's got to be the highest in that category.,,i had all mine for poetry.well lots of luck to you.,.,

Hi Gobi,Read these detailed instructions (created by me) on "How do I become a Top Contributor?" on my site:http://specialagentmatt-faq.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-do-i-become-top-contributor.htmlNobody but the Yamster knows the exact formula but we do know that:You need to choose a category you want to be a TC in (Not Polls & Surveys or Jokes & Riddles) and stay active in it. Have at least 10% best answers and gain at least 200+ points a week from that category. The badges are given and taken on Monday mornings (PST)

My contributor badge just appeared and I was shocked. I must have been answering lots of questions in Garden & Landscape.It must have been cumulative because I go through questions and answer if I have something to say THAT FALLS WITHIN COMMUNITY GUIDELINES.The Muse

Hello Gobi. I got my Top Contributer icon by keep on answering questions on the Video & Online Games + Quotations section. I try to make sure my answers are high quality and if the question goes into vote then I vote for myself.
