What does it mean in family relationships when you reffer to one of them as removed?

ex: she is her third cousin twice removed He is her dads cousin thrice removed i dont get it?? how can you "remove" them?

It's generational. For instance, if your first cousin has a child, that child is your first cousin once removed. If your first cousin has a grandchild, that grandchild is your first cousin twice removed.

it's best to draw a diagram, like a ladder. The rungs of the latter go across to siblings (like a brother-say Jim on one side and another brother-say Joe on the other side) then below Jim goes his offspring and below Joe goes his offspring. They don't get a ladder rung, but they're on the same level. They are first cousins. Now the offspring of Jim's and Joe's kids go underneath them. They are second cousins because they are two levels away from the last sibling link (rung of the ladder). If you are on the same level as someone else you will be a regular cousin (ie, first, second, etc.) if you are on a different level then you will be removed. (so Jim's son and Joe's kid's son would be first cousins once removed.) And it just goes down the ladder from there. every level down you are from a sibling link is a greater number cousin and every level off of someone else you are is a greater number of removal. Got it?

Perhaps this e-book can help you with your relationship? It's a free download so it's worth a shot I think.
